01. Low cholesterol content
Cholesterol is an essential part of the fat found in meat; however, it has been observed that poultry meat contains lower cholesterol levels than beef.
02. Low collagen content
Collagen is considered an incomplete protein. An excessive amount of it reduces the nutritional value and tenderness of the meat.
03. Low fat content
Chicken breast fillet contains only about 4% fat. 100 grams of this meat has just 120 kcal, while a thigh of the same weight contains 155 kcal.
